OVERVIEW:  The Territory Manager (Accessibility) Salt Lake City will promote sales of Handicare Stairlifts to business partners within Salt Lake City metropolitan area.   The Territory Manager will train its business partners to sell Handicare Stairlifts and assist with on-site training of the Handicare Stairlift range.  Territory Managers will be responsible to work with Handicare staff to insure deliverables resulting in quality and timely outcomes for our clients and increased revenue for Handicare.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Train business partners to sell Handicare Stairlift range with product knowledge, sales techniques, surveying and pricing.
  • Represent Handicare at industry exhibitions and conferences.
  • Meet or exceed annual goals and objectives.
  • Deliver technical training and advice to business partners on our stair lift range
  • Be prepared to travel to any site where sales or training needs occur.
  • Manage personal schedule to work efficiently and to meet target requirements as defined by Sales Director
  • Delivery excellence - quality of Handicare services and products
  • Communicate with customers to assess customer satisfaction level with services and products.
  • Provide recommendations for procedural improvements
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Any other duties as assigned by senior staff

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a four year college or university in Business; along 5 + years of sales and marketing experience in Stairlifts products.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES OR REGISTRATIONS:

  • None required.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

The employee may occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch during shift.  Employee will be required to regularly sit, use hand to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms.  Employee must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 25 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position works in an environment with moderate noise levels.

TRAVEL:

  • This position travels up to 50%
